Singer Joe Jonas and actor Sophie Turner are heading for divorce after four years of marriage. TMZ stated that the couple has had “serious problems” for at least the last six months.
A source also told the outlet that the couple’s two children have been with Joe as he tours the US and he has been caring for them “pretty much all of the time”.
Another source told Page Six confirmed the news and said that “Joe is exploring the best options for his future”. The news came after several fans speculated the pair’s split based on photos where the duo was spotted without their respective wedding rings.

Sophie and Joe first met in October 2016 after the latter slid into her Instagram DMs. “We had a lot of mutual friends. And they’d been trying to introduce us for a long time,” she told Harper’s Bazaar UK.
This led to the singer inviting the actor to meet up while his tour was passing through the UK. “We talked for hours, and hours, and hours. And I wasn’t bored. It wasn’t contrived, it wasn’t small talk — it was just so easy. Soon, we were inseparable. And then I went on tour with him,” Sophie said.

In October 2017, the couple announced their engagement with endearing posts on social media. While Joe wrote, “She said yes,” Sophie captioned, “I said yes.”
It was in May 2019 that the couple had an impromptu surprise wedding in Las Vegas. “We had to get legally married in the States, so we thought it’d be really fun to get all of our friends, invite them out, and do an impromptu wedding. And we actually had some people that I didn’t really even know that well there,” he told GQ.
A month later, they tied the knot for the second time at Le Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, France.
Sophie and Joe welcomed their first child – a baby girl – in July 2020. “Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby,” their reps told People. In July 2022, they welcomed their second baby girl.
