‘Hatred between India-Pak because…’: BJP MP Sunny Deol ahead of Gadar 2

By India Today Entertainment Desk: Bollywood actor and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sunny Deo, who is returning to the silver screen with his new film Gadar 2, on Wednesday said it is the political blame game that creates hatred between India and Pakistan.

Gadar 2 will be released in theatres on August 11. Ahead of its release, the makers released the trailer of the film on Wednesday. The movie features Sunny Deo as Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel as Sakina. The film picks up 22 years after its first part was released.

Speaking to reporters on the occasion of Gadar 2 trailer launch, Sunny Deol said, “The essence lies in humanity, not in taking or giving. A conflict between the two sides should not prevail. It is the political blame game that creates hatred between India and Pakistan, a theme reflected in this film. Both nations comprise people who seek peace, as we are essentially one and the same.”

Sunny Deol is also a BJP MP from Punjab’s Gurdaspur.

After much anticipation, the makers of ‘Gadar 2’ have finally unveiled the film’s trailer, delighting fans with a nostalgic journey down memory lane, revisiting the iconic characters of Tara Singh and Sakina.

In this sequel, Tara Singh finds himself compelled to travel to Pakistan once again, but this time to retrieve his son, portrayed by Utkarsh Sharma. His promise to Sakina is a testament to his unwavering determination.

In fact, he goes back to rampage mode once again and even transforms into a version of Indian Thor, who can beat up dozens with just a hammer.
